Hey.
I have the following problem :
Yesterday I shut down my computer and when I turned it back on, the sound simply stopped working ! The sound controll applet just disappeared from the panel and I can't even start Sys. -> pref. -> sound (it says its waiting for the sound system to respond).
The sound works in flash.
It suddenly started to work yesterday, but today I needed to restart the desktop and now it's not working again.
I've tried reinstalling pulse audio, tried "killall pulseaudio", tried deleting pulseaudio files from home dir. Nothing worked. :(
What do I do ?
