Hello, I want to install linux on my computer, but i play a lot o Warcraft 3 on my days. I have a few question.

1. It is possible to get it in fullscreen or its insanne?
2. How does it works on the emulator? it is good or slow?
3. Any other problems who can happen if you use the emulator instead om normal Windows.

Thx for the help. I hope i get good answers

Hello!

Warcraft 3 runs great in Wine (http://www.winehq.com/) for me. Some people have reported problems with the sound so I guess it is not certain to work 100% for everyone. And I had to go through some extra steps to get campaign mode going, but now its works just as well as in windows. I am playing in 1400x1050 fullscreen.

It runs slower for me in Linux than on windows, but if you have a good video card maybe youll have no problems.

Are you running with opengl ("wine Warcraft3.exe -opengl") ?

I have played Warcraft 3 quite thoroughly under Cedega without incident. I didn't give any command line parameters (eg, --opengl) so I guess that means I was using D3D.
