I have a two node Virtual Iron virtualisation environment. It has 2 Windows 2008_64bit Oracle servers running there. I need to move these virtual servers off of the Virtual Iron platform because it is an unsupported product as of a couple of months ago. We are replacing Virtual Iron with Ubuntu Server (64bit) and running KVM as our hypervisor. To date, KVM has been superb.

I need a process/procedure or the name of a conversion tool that can convert the Virtual Iron's .vhd disk format to disk format that I can use on a Ubuntu/KVM platform. Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks
