so i tried http://www.ubuntumini.com/2009/09/hack-karmics-gdm-login-screen.html this method of accessing the control center from the login screen before, and i got i to work. Unfortunately, the skin i put on it didnt come with a background screen, so im stuck with this ugly plain orange screen. Since then, ive tried to get in numerous times but after i type in the commands, it says it cant open the command center.
Does anyone know how i can access this again, preferably without downgrading?
