Gimp trick

in the gimp, if you go under file, there is a section called accuire. under it, there is a tab called Screenshot. click that and a window will come up. click grab. then click a window with the pointer and VIOLLA. you get a screenshot of the window only. this is helpful for people who have questions about a driver and dont want to type the info. just use the gimp. hope it helps

In Gnome you can also achieve this by bringing the window to the front and using the Alt-PrintScrn buttons
