Icon Set Install Problems

I've been trying to install some icon sets from GNOME-look, such as BlankOn, Still Life, and Kreski lines. There's only one problem: They don't work. I've gotten several sets to work, including Oxygen and Dropline Neu!, but most just show the default GNOME icons when I have them active. Any ideas on what's wrong?

They're not full icon sets.
Try these icons, my favourite.
