May I make a suggestion about the Forum?
The Fedora Forums, which I believe run on VBulletin, show which Operating System the poster is running at the time the post is made.
Ive always thought this is a very cool feature and very informative when people are reading.
Would it be possible, if you thought it a good idea, to put a similar or identical feature on these forums?

Thanks for patience

Kate

We have that here - yours shows that you're running Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala)

It can be edited from the details tab in UserCP (from what I recall...)

Hi and thanks for answering.
Yes we have that feature but we dont have the same as Ive seen on Fedora Forum.
How can I explain it better ? :)
When a post is made it is usual to log the date and possibly the time as well. The feature I am thinking of also logs, in real time, what operating system and browser the poster happens to be using at the time he or she made the post.
Thats quite different to the smashing feature we have here where we edit whatever distro we are using ourselves.
Its only a bit of trivia, I know, but I really do think its such a cool thing to have ... you would be surprised how many people post to the Fedora Forum using Windows or a Linux Distro that isnt Fedora. (Possibly because it isnt that easy to configure!!)
No problem if it cant be done I just thought I would ask.
Thanks ever so much again for your answer :)

It could be done, but we have a lot more traffic (on what I imagine is pretty similar hardware) and so we have had to make some hard choices about fun, but not really necessary stuff like this. I would love to be able to enable this, but we just don't have the resources. I'm thrilled our Fedora Forum friends can, though. :)
