Hello,
Okay, this one might be a little bit weird.
When I first installed kubuntu about 3 weeks ago I had the problem that my laptop (after installing the official nvidia driver for my GeForce G105M) displayed the same screen 6 times. After I fixed that (replaced the xorg.conf with one I found on the Internet, not sure where exactly) everything worked just fine.
Today I was just playing around with wine for a little bit and tried to launch a Windows program (I'm on dual boot with kubuntu 9.10 and windows 7).
By launching the program (which was open office by the way - I know that's senseless, but I just wanted to try whether wine works) I got that 6-screen-problem again.
Now, I replaced my old xorg.conf again with the new one, but that didn't solve the problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I searched google and the forums but found nothing that matched my problem...

Well I just noticed it ain't the exact same problem. I actually see more than 6 screens, I see the top of two more screens, so I guess I'd be able to see an infinite number of virtual screens if only my laptop screen would be big enough.
Nobody has any suggestions?
