I was just thinking, wouldn't it be neat if you could run two OS's at the same time? And be able to switch between them with a click!
It's probably a technical impossability... Just dreaming.... :rolleyes:

it's called virtualization. VMware, is the big player. Qemu does it, too.

You used to be able to do that with BeOS.. THere was an icon right on your Windows desktop...
BeOS was pretty slick. Too bad it didn't make it.

AMD and Intel are both working on hardware level support for virtualization technology. You may have heard of this in lists of the new features for both of their next-generation processors. What it will basically allow you to do is use one physical processor to run 2 operating systems.
