Breezy currently supports version 2.1.6 of gphoto2 and libgphoto2. In order to allow my iRiver T10 to be supported under Linux, gphoto2 and libgphoto2 need to be at the newest version, 2.1.99.
I'm requesting the updates as packages because my attmpt to try to build them with checkinstall did not work. I think the libgphoto2 source was split into 2 packages.
This would benefit anyone with a newer digital camera not supported by version 2.1.6 of gphoto2 and anyone with the MTP iRiver media players.
I'm not too good at patching files/packages, but will be willing to learn if someone wants to walk me through the process of building an update to a .deb package. This way, I can help with the update of the program and give back to the community.
