Might consider your own machine and someplace like www.no-ip.com or www.dyndns.com to point the web to your machine!

Just did a quick Google for Free Web Hosting and found these (and others):

http://www.absolutely-free-hosting.com/

http://www.free-webhosts.com/

http://www.freewebspace.net/

These are review sites and will give you some options and allow you to make a somewhat informed decision.

The other option is find a cheap (preferably free) old desktop and install a Linux server on it and have a cheap home based server. It isn't free as it consumes electricity, but you have control over it. Once you have it set up and going, you can run it headless (no monitor) and just ssh into it to do everything. Mine doesn't have anything hooked up to it but the LAN cable and power cord.

I currently like 000webhost.com (http://www.000webhost.com/features). Considering it's free you get a hell of a lot of bandwidth and features.

I will check out 000webhost. I used to have it setup as my laptop as my server using dyndns.com domain, but my laptop was on and off, so I looked into free hosting. Thanks for your help everyone!

Actually, I think that I won't go with free hosting and just stick with what I have now. Anyway, thanks for all the help everyone!

Obviously, a webhosting is never free... But i've tried 000webhost for a couple of months and it was fine. A bit slow, not that much control over it, but it helps me for a couple of months.
Then I've discover several webhosting association, free, or very cheap, and they were doing that not to earn money but to promote a different way of webhosting. You might try instead.
