View Full Version : [SOLVED] Wireless Network icon missing

A while back, I accidentally clicked Remove from Panel on my wireless network icon that shows the bars according to signal strength. Nothing in Add to Panel has it, I installed both Wicd and Knemo since they both say they display a network icon in the systray.

Still I have nothing showing me what my wireless signal strength is...

How do I get it back?

Right after I even re-installed Gnome network manager, and still nothing...

Thanks for any help!

Hi, i did this once too.
Right click the panel select add to panel and then add the notification applet

Cool... I new it had to be something simple!

Of course since I installed Wicd and KNemo, it is showing those icons, not the bar graph gnome was showing beforehand, but I can probably tweak one of the 2 from here to make it satisfactory.

Thanks a bunch!
