There's a program that's basically Rosegarden for MIDI only. I used it a while ago and now I can't find it again, nor can I remember it's name. I'd appreciate it if anyone could mention it if you know what I'm talking about.

I'd like to use it because Rosegarden keeps crashing on jack. Everything else that works with jack works fine. I really like this program's interface for MIDI sequencing, but I can't use it because it won't run while jack is running and jack is the only way to connect to my MIDI interface (Emagic AMT8). I figure if I can find this other program, it might work.

Not positive which one you're referring to, but I'll just name off some of the lesser-known ones and hopefully hit it...

- ggseq
- Qtractor
- muse
- seq24
- softwerk
- anthem

*edit - Even better, look through this list:

Thanks!

Actually, I meant that literally. There is a program somewhere that IS Rosegarden, not just like Rosegarden, stripped of audio editing, leaving it MIDI-only, and given another name. I just can't remember what it's called. But it's literally Rosegarden minus audio. It looks and handles exactly the same.
