Hey, I recently installed Kubuntu 9.10 on my Macbook Pro and I am definitely not a mac person so I have a few things that are bugging me otherwise I absolutely LOVE this OS! I've used Kubuntu off and on but I'm not quite versed in all things Linux. Here are things that I have been having problems with can anyone help? I have searched around but cant find anything.
1. Need to be able to temporarily disable touch pad when typing, hotkey preferred such as fn+apple. (is there an app to disable touchpad when typing by any chance?)
2. Eject button doesn't work to Eject Disk's, I've tried going into system keyboard settings but there is no hotkey for eject.
3. Need to remap right apple button to right mouse button (ran across a guide on here that did it using a system config file, didn't work) - Sorta Fixed, holding mouse button and then using 2 finger click works, I would still like to be able to map right apple button to right click
4. Is there any way I can change Amarok back to the older style? I hate this new style feels ultra bloated. I have looked at themes but I think I'm missing something. (Bonus question: Why doesn't LastFM work in Amarok? I have googled this.)
5. Apps like handbrake feel ultra bloated and have that grey look to them, is that because of GTK? and is there any way to change that?

6. (Low priority) LED on caps lock doesn't light up when Caps lock is on, Screen Brightness Up/down as well as Keyboard back lighting control does not work. These aren't really a priority to me and they don't bother me at all but if there is a quick easy fix then that would be fantastic!
7. (Low Priority) Any way to open kde menu with left apple button?
I know there are a lot of things here but any help will be greatly appreciated or links of any kind. I'm really enjoying my Linux experience so far and am glad to be rid of Mac OSX and Windows :D. I've already gotten my USB GPS to work with the GPS programs and such. I'll keep looking around for answers to my questions and update the post if I find them. Thanks a ton for your help and I'm glad to be a Kubuntu User.
