I have a LG GSA-4166B DVD/CD Burner/LightScribe drive, and I'm running Ubuntu 9.15.
I've installed all of the necessary codecs as per the tutorial stickied in this form.
My drive will read/write CD's but will not recognize DVD's. I can even get the light writer to work on the disks.
This drive was working before when it was installed under windows but as I don't have a working install of windows anymore I can't just swap the drive over.
