First off I have a 2.2gh CPU, 2g ram ddr2.

I got this from a store few years back I just got Ubuntu on it(Have Ubuntu on other pc's)
So it says on a sticker that I have NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE, that is built into the motherboard so I went to System>Admin>Hardware Drivers What I get is
NVIDIA accelerated graphics driver (version 173)
NVIDIA accelerated graphics driver (version 185) [Recommended]
NVIDIA accelerated graphics driver (version 96).
I tried the Recommended one but I could not get a signal on monitor it said cord not plugged in all the way or something like that so I reinstalled Ubuntu and don't want to do that again.

Normally a reinstallation is not necessary. Just boot into recovery mode, and then you can roll back the graphics settings.
