Well... It is a network game accounting for 50mb. It is entirely in flash SWF format and any means I run it with. Linux player 6 Standalone, In Firefox, Windows FP7 Standalone (WINE), anything after a few minutes of play lags my hair into flames. Are there any ideas on how to increase flash performance? I tried the easy route of ignorance by tweaking the 'Nice value' of firefox as I used it there, or the wine instance running the flashplayer but to no avail. Still tends to lag the same and increasing that apps resource allowence only (obviously) degrades overall performance of anything else running. And, no this has nothing to do with the 'Quality' Settings of flash. Infact it seemingly degrades performance when switching to medium, and becomes unplayable at low.
