Is there an way to use my Belkin USB peripheral switch? How do I install or enable a driver for it? I have one PC running on XP and my laptop is running on Ubuntu. The driver for the switch only have a driver for the windows and Mac op systems .

(The peripheral switch is a device for two computers to use the same printer, without plugging/unplugging cables all the time.)

Thanks for the sentence on the handle... I would surely say it was inspired!

a Peripheral switch is a device that connects two computers to one device, like a printer. Then you install the software and any one of the two computers can take hold of the printer by requesting the peripheral switch to switch the printer to your computer.

I hope I made myself understandable. I am poor at english...
