I am beginning to believe that Firefox is not really a very good browser for Linux. The fact that Firefox works so much better on Windows than on Linux makes me believe that there may be a browser that works better on Linux than on Window. Any Browser opinions?

After some initial burps where it was running my CPU up to 100%, Chrome and I have made peace and are getting along just great now. Much faster and smoother than Firefox for me.

In my opinion, Opera works a lot worse than on Windows, especially when using flash: taking up 105% CPU just for a simple homestarrunner.com flash.

Yes, my CPU sucks though: 1.60 GHz Pentium M centrino (Non-HT, so no logical cores.)

I really only have one problem that I hate but since I have different thread discussing that issue I don't want to bring it up here. I want to be using a browser that is designed for Linux users and is not just also available for Linux users.

I use Iron (http://www.srware.net/en/software_srware_iron.php) -- a Chromium derivative without the privacy issues -- for Google Apps and WebKit quickness as well as Opera for general browsing, and Firefox for sites that require it. Why use only one browser when you could have 3? :D
