Hello,
I would like to ask for kkbswitch to be added to ubuntu backports.
It's a small utility very useful utility for international users of kubuntu. I downloaded the dapper source package and it was compiled automatically without any problems. It fits all other requirements for a backport too.
This app isn't available in breezy. What it does is simply give you an icon in the system tray which shows you the current keyboard layout (that is, language). I thought that KDE's keyboard layout options might give me such an icon, but they don't work very well.
Thanks,
Noam
