Nettop-like server?

I'm wondering if there is something such as a nettop-like server. I have a server at home which I use for file hosting / sharing and a bit of developing (php/mysql/apache). However, this machine is somewhat old, so I'm looking to replace it. The reason why I'm searching for a nettop is because I don't need a lot of computing power (Linux is light) so I'd like something that fits my needs and is economical / eco-friendly. The machines I'm looking at so far:

Open-PC (http://open-pc.com/) - Linux friendly out of the box. However, I can't seem to find if:
the Hard Disk is easily changeable -- I might want to install a bigger one;
it has an optical drive (the pictures seem to show it has one)

Fit-PC2 (http://www.fit-pc.com/web/fit-pc2/) - I like that it doesn't come with an HDD -- allows me to get one of the exact size I want. I also like the auto-on feature -- very useful for a server. Also love the fact that it's fan-less. Unfortunately, the 2GB RAM version is not out yet.
Dell Studio Hybrid (http://www.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/desktop-studio-hybrid?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&~ck=mn) - way too expensive. Otherwise perfect.

I admit I haven't researched this very much. However, I'm sure there are people here who have toyed around with such things and can give some advice :).

I looked at machines like this recently to run as an HTPC with Mythbuntu or possiblly Win7 Media Center. Those 3 are what I have been eyeing for a couple weeks. The Revo is an Atom so probably the lowest power drain and has the least moving parts. It also has the smallest form factor.

Intel Atom is an excellent start. The Atom 330 is a dual core, low power and can run fanless. The 945 chipset uses more power than the CPU!

If low power is high on the list, look at the ion based boards, in dual core and single core varients.

I was looking for exactly the same. My choice was the Dell Zino HD as it supports virtualization, has low power consumption and is equipped with a 3.5" HDD. I've considered also other, please see my post from:

that is an actual server that is the size of a nettop, (its actually just a re-purposed nettop.
