Not sure if there are any fuel fans in here but Idol performer Chris Daughtry got an offer to be their new lead singer.
I thought his performance was pretty damn good if you ask me but you can judge for yourself, here's a link to the video.

I say he should take the offer and drop out of Idol, thoughts?

no way unless I'm guessing fuel lost their lead singer?...he's a good singer, but he can't match the unmistakable voice of hemorrhage(sp) and falls on me.

Yeah they lost their singer. Wow, you didn't think he sounded good? Even the band members said he sang the song like he wrote it. They also complement him on their website.

he sounds good, but not in the same context. Any bands given unmistakable qualities are guitar pitch and vocals. And seeing that the lead singer is gone, that considerably changes things. He would make a fine replacement, but it will give the band a different sound altogether IMO. This guy sounds like he is trying really hard to sound this way IMO whereas the original was more mellow and free sounding. But this could be studio vs open mic differences. I'm kinda down to know the singer left, other than the singer of Finger 11, he was my favorite. In any case I hope they get some new stuff out soon.
