hey guys, i'm dream, i live in connecticut. I'm 16 and just found out about how exciting linux is. I downloaded the ubuntu linux iso, i already installed it but am having trouble actually getting into linux so i'm hoping the great people here will be able to help me out :)

It may tke a while to "get into" linux, but once you realioze that you can totally customize your environment (and rather easily, I might add with Synaptic), you will easily become addicted!

Hey Dream, i'm relitively new here too, and I can definately recommend the Ubuntu forums as a great place to not only learn about Ubuntu, but Linux in general! Its amazing what you'll pick up!

As far as learning linux, may I suggest http://www.linuxcommand.org . That's the best site I've seen for learning terminal commands..
