I have Ubuntu 8.04 the Brasero Disk Burning program is version 0.7.1 probable by default. Anyway i have a real Low processor 866 mhz. I have a bunch of media that i downloaded from the net. Is there a way to upgrade to a higher version of Brasero by a command in terminal. Also i downloaded brasero-2.28.2 to my home folder and extracted it but it put it into that directory in it's own file. But it did not add it to my programs under Applications - Sound & Video any Idea's would be great. Please help.

if you've already downloaded the latest brasero, extracted it and its working fine when launching it from the terminal, you can add the program to the Applications->Sound & Video simply by right clicking on Applications and choosing edit menus.
