I know how to change the mouse theme for the normal desktop, but how do you change the default one (the mouse theme that shows up when you log-in)

side note: i already asked on a thread for BURG,but i guess i'll ask here too. i installed BURG grub theme, but it got rid of my ubuntu loading splah (the white one on a black backround). anyone know how i can get it back?

To change the mouse theme:
sudo update-alternatives --configure x-cursor-theme
