Hi all, Newbie ubuntu user. When I go to update, I get 404 error for my statux.org source. Specifically relating to my main/binary-i386 packages.gz. Do I need to worry about this? I removed the statux.org items from my "other sources" list, but I want to be sure I'm not missing something important. I'm an asus EEE pc user with Ubuntu netbook remix. Thanks! Ben

That's how I had it setup. I don't even remember doing it, tbh -- I think it must have come pre-installed with UNR?
Anyway, so I had it setup like that, and then everytime I ran "Check for Updates" I'd get a 404 error -- specifically, this one:
Failed to fetch http://www.statux.org/ubuntu/dists/software/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz 404 Not Found
That seems like it should be an important thing that I keep updated?

Still looking for love / help!
Should I be looking for a new repo / source for that package that I listed that statux.org doesn't seem to offer anymore?
Nightmare!

Same problem. Also using Ubuntu Netbook remix on an Asus eee 1005HA.
Anyone have suggestions?

Using Ubuntu 10.10 here on my 1005HA netbook.... looks like statux.org has been wiped clean.... the homepage is a sites.google.com "start your new webpage".
Maybe have to wait a bit for something to happen
