Dear Friends,

I HOPE this is the right forum for this question! Sorry if it is not!

I am looking for a Linux program for our institute where I can create a CD or DVD that you pop into any computer, and it automatically opens up a browser menu, from whence the user can select Audio MP3 teaching sessions and/or the accompanying PDF outline notes. I hope I make sense. The idea is one complete 20-30 hour institute course (audios plus PDF's) per CD.

I am running 32-bit Ubuntu 9.10 on several machines.

Thanks in advance!;)

For me your question is not very clear.
Put your audio files and pfd's on a data DVD and pop it in a pc. A window will ask you what to do (play, open folder, do nothing, ...). If you click 'open folder' you will get all your files. But I guess that this is not what you are looking for.
Do you want to get audio start running when a pdf is opened ? But then a
i do not see how to go to the next pdf page with the audio running (synchronising).
Or are you looking for a slide show where the audio is playing back together with text slides in a synchronised way ?
