Hi guys, I've got two servers, a Solaris 10 one and an Ubuntu 8.04. The former runs the accountancy program, while the latter runs the remote sessions to it via NX from the Windows workstations.
The accountancy program is coded in Cobol and stores data usgin an indexed file DB: Vision 4 filesystem.
I was wondering if someone knows an odbc or jdbc driver or a different way to access data on that db which can be used on linux to work on data bypassing the accountancy program.
So far I only found expensive solutions that don't allow a try-before-buy formula, and before going that way I'd like to be sure there aren't free solutions.
Thanks in advance for the help!
