I'm very happy with my Breezy Badger at the moment, but I'm going to do a fresh install when Dapper Drake is released. Will you?

Only if doing a dist-upgrade from the development release goes pear-shaped.

Will that option upgrade to the newer kernel included with dapper?

Will that option upgrade to the newer kernel included with dapper? Why wouldn't it?

I will defently. Running Breezy 64 right now. So I hope it will fix my video driver issues with my Radeon 9200.

Backup everything *before* you upgrade to dapper. Because something could go wrong with the upgrade. I learned this the hard way when I attempted to install the ati 3d drivers.

I always back up and do a clean re-install - practically all my hardware is supported out of the box with no tweaking, so this is no big deal :)

I did a clean install with this box just before flight three, but am probably going to do it again soon with RC1 when it is released in march.

Yesterday, I reinstalled Ubuntu, and moved my home directories to their own partition, just for this exact reason.

I might as well, just to get the KDE crap off of my system.

I just feel like it would be safer/easier in the long run, because it would remove any unsupported packages, Anything you may have broken/fouled up, etc.
