Ok, I'm a newb with ubuntu, but I've managed to get through most of the issues I've ever had without great hardship.
The problem I'm having is with this game, DEFCON. I was browsing the web this afternoon, when I spotted that DEFCON had a Linux version. Excited at this, I set about getting it. And it was splendid. I downloaded the archive to my desktop, extracted it, and started playing. No problems, I even set a launch icon on the top bar (forgot the name of it, dumb moment). The problems started when I started moving it about. I thought that I could just move the archive and the extracted folder elsewhere, off the desktop, and it would work fine. Wrong.
It doesn't give me an error message, it simply doesn't work. I tried re-extracting the archive to the folder I wasnted to keep it in, but that doesn't work either.
I know the solution is probably staring me in the face, but I can't for the life of me figure it out.
Halp? I'm new at this. :/
