View Full Version : [ubuntu] How to install xorg-edgers drivers for ati mobility radeon x300?

Hi, as pretty much everyone knows, out there, ati's been a douche and stopped supporting graphic cards for a few months, such as the mobility radeon x300, which is mine.

I've been told that one can install open source drivers, though, as a replacement, but I don't seem to know how, because I am not so familiar with the ppa system.

Does anyone know how to help me here?

Thanks, the PPA works now! =D I'm just wondering how I can the xorg-edges driver properly so that I can run simple 2D games, such as Teeworlds =)

2D shouldn't be an issue. Have a look here:
