I've booted into an Ubuntu Live CD using an external DVD USB drive. However, when a Window appears on the screen the Accept/Cancel/OK type selection at the bottom of the screen is hidden below the bottom panel. I've tried changing the screen Display size but haven't been able to find anything that allows me to see the options and press the buttons. Resizing the window doesn't work either. I'm aware that Alt + something simulates the button depression, but I cannot see the choices.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks

(Asus Eee Serf (no other identification), 512Mb Ram, 2Gb storage.)

on my netbook ... it's ALT + left mouse/trackpad button which will bring up the 'hand' and allow me to move the window.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for this, unfortunately I cannot move the window up high enough to see the lowest section. The top of the window will not go higher than the top panel.

Many thanks for your interest.
