Hi Everyone,
I have just registered on these forums for the first time and had terrible trouble with typing in the correct letters from the image that are there to protect the site from automatically generated registrations. It took SEVEN attempts to register, and I was on the point of giving up. I am posting this in case there are others who have experienced this problem and as a result may indeed give up the idea of joining.
I am not against the principle of having to type in these letters (indeed I do it regularly on my yahoo mail a/c - without any problems), however, in this case it was very difficult to distinguish between upper/lower case in some instances, and I feel this should be made clearer.
Other than that, I am very happy with my new Ubuntu installation, as it is the first distro I have ever installed that recognised all my hardware 'out of the box'! Well done to the Ubuntu community and keep up the good work.
