Can anyone help me? I wanna install Ubuntu Netbook Remix using Wubi.
Is that possible? I've read that i need to install Ubuntu 9.X using Wubi first then i could install Ubuntu Netbook Remix after that. Can anyone tell me if that is correct? And if possible could help me through it?
Thanks.. Salamat ng marami!

download the ISO of UNR 9.10 tapos download ka nag UNetbootin Remix. You don't have to install UNR 9.04 but you have to download the iso and I suggest using 9.10 as most devices like Wi-fi for 'new' laptops are supported.
simple lang gamitin yan.
Use UNetbootin, plug ur USB flash driver (1g is the minimum but the recommended is 2gig) sa DISKIMG point mo saan yung ISO file ng UNR9.10 tapos execute mo. Reboot
Go to your flash drive na nilagyan mo ng ISO ng UNR and look for WUBI.exe.. at mag iinstall yan run and your good to go
In case di mo gusto ang ubuntu netbook remix (UNR) uninstall it sa ADD/REMOVE just like any other windows applications

I've successfully installed Ubuntu Netbook Remix, Hooray!
I have a new problem, i don't have any wireless network and therefore can't connect to the internet :(
Please help
On the top right of ubuntu, it says there no network connection. how can i detect new wireless connections?
Thank you

click on the no connection icon you should be able to see 'wireless connection' a wi-fi connection depending on how 'free' your connection is you might need the password. If you have a internet at home, try plugging your ethernet / modem (i.e. PLDT modem); plug the ethernet cable on the lappy before turning it on.
On a related note if you are in a totally free wi-fi hotspot like SM when you boot the modem it would notify you of the existing free hot spot.

hi, i've had experience installing lucid on win7 using wubi, works great
i did the same thing with emachines em250 netbook but i'm having problems
when i choose ubuntu netbook at startup and then choose ubuntu again
there's a 50/50 chance its not going to load
it will just stay in the black screen and will not got to the splash
i would need to do a "reset"
when it does load it works great, but i was unable to detect the free wifi at a local coffee shop
any ideas would be great, thanks

Perhaps you need a proprietary driver..
Give this a try:
System > Administration > Hardware Drivers
You will be prompted to enable a driver if your system finds one.
