Hello, I am a newcomer to the world of Linux and so far am enjoying it very much. However I do have one problem, and that is using wireless broadband. If I turn my laptop on with the cable connecting it to the hub, I get automatic wireless, no probs. I can then pull the cable out of its socket at the back. But if I then re-boot (with cable disconnected), I get no connection at all, and no wireless is recognised. sudo iwconfig returns a negative "No wireless extensions".
Moreover, when I do have wireless (as now), the led on the front of my laptop does not work.
I'm baffled!
