I'm looking for a GDM login-theme which automatically fills in (remembers) the username of the last user (like windows XP classic theme). Anyone knows where to find such a theme?

IIRC. It's not something that's made in a theme. It's a setting somewhere in GDM. But since it's gnome, it's quite sure the setting is hidden in gconf.

If you really struggle to set it up you could always use KDM. KDM does this by default.

And if you use KDM you should also consider using the GUI that gets installed along with KDM.

Try gnome-look.org for a GDM theme that may suit your requirements.
Try one with the face browser.

well, I have already looked at gnome-look.org and other sites, and I have already tried themes with face browser, but the last username won't be saved. You still have to click/type your username.
And off-course I can use KDM, but I think it's a little excessive operation for only such a basic feature.... Isn't there really a variable in gdm.conf or gdm.conf-custom (or ...) to set "SaveLastUsername = true" or something ? :p

The closest I've seen is an option for auto login or timed login of a specified user.
I don't know if that is really what you want.
