Time for another "stupid noob" question...
I'm looking for a program that will allow me to burn a slide show of photos, and add music from my MP3 library onto a CD. I'd prefer that it be FOSS. Can anyone recommend a program that'll let me do that?
Thanks in advance!

which "flavor" or Ubuntu are you running? Brasero is the default program in Ubuntu and it does a good job. You can try that one ... on Kubuntu, K3b does a similar function.

If you need to build up a slideshow from the pictures and music you have, try ManDVD or devede.
They'll make the complete DVD structure for you.
Then you'll be able to burn it using Brasero or k3b

ManDVD is now 2manDVD. The slideshow app is 'Smile'. It is a KDE app you can use under gnome as well.
As written by previous posters you can use normal video editors for slideshows (kdenlive, blender, cinelerra, ...)

Thank you all for replying! I will download and install 2manDVD and get it running.
Thanks to people like you all, I am slowly getting my feet under me, and becoming more at home in a Window-less environment.
