Hi all,
could you tell me how to enable the fn+F5,F6 combination to set my lcd brightness? Just another info: will fn+F7 work when I will put my pc on a projector? Thanks.

I made it by linking the keys to nvclock -S +[-] [quantity].
Could you suggest me how to make notify-osd notify me that with such nice icons?

Hi guys,
by reinstalling Ubuntu after a maintenance week for my laptop my fn keys for brightness happened to work perfectly just-by-Ubuntu! Perhaps it was because of some upgrade or something... anyway: SOLVED! ;)
