Database Name & User Name

I set up LAMP and phpMyAdmin on my server. The database and user name were created in phpMyAdmin. Now I am trying to install Wordpress, but I don't know the database or user name. This is needed for the Wordpress config file. It isn't working with the name I create and I suspect there is more to the name. On hosting accounts usually there is "whatever_" then the user name you created. How would I find the database and user name?

Below is the error I receive when visiting the site in a browser.
Unknown database 'whatever'

DUH.... I had a typo in the DB name.
