January 5th, 2010, 11:44 AM
Hi I have just upgraded from 9.04 to 9.10. I am a new user. i am running an internal PCI wireless network adaptor. in 9.04 my network was fine, the speed was fast and i was able to browse the net and install packages. Since upgrading I am lucky to be able to open goggle and I cand download email or update the computer. My network adapter finds and connects to the local wireless network.

any help would be greatly apreciated.

Which wireless network adaptor, please? Run 'lshw -c network' in a terminal and it'll dump out some text telling you what network adaptors you've got in your machine.
