I accidentally ran a script I shouldn't have and it deleted the sound drivers from my system. When I run from a Live CD, I have audio. But when I boot off the hard drive, there's no sound...and no hardware device listed under "Sound" in "System".
I've tried removing and purging alsa-base, etc. with no luck. Is there any way to replace the drivers with the ones from the Live CD since audio does work on that?
Thanks for any help!
