Any one got plane shift working on ubuntu??

ok im trying to get planeshift working (www.planeshift.it) on ubuntu, ive tried several things and am getting frustrated if any one has it installed and running please let me know how you did it.

for those who dont know what planeshift is its a free mmorpg that has native clients for linux mac and windoze. right now its in the development alpha. come on over and play, great game.

I got it working. There's a patch you need to get on their forums.

ok, im still trying to install the bastard, much less play. i have it installed in windows so im not missing out on the action but id like to move completly away from windows. im slowly making the transition.

i haven't installed it but I know on their forums they have a linux section and the guys on there got it working and i read somewhere on there that some of them are using ubuntu
