I'm curious, I've always used seperate applications to perform what i need. Firefox, Thunderbird, Sunbird.

But there's a few of options.

Sea Monkey
the Mozilla Suite
what i just stated i use (can switch Sunbird as a calendar plugin for Thunderbird or Firefox)

Is there big performance and functionality differences between these choices? what ranks highest to you? I'm just kind of curious on some public feedback on the products that are offered.

The only other product i ever really used was Camino on OS X, which i hated the way it handled websites with WMV files on it. It made the pages completely unbrowsable... (i think i just invented a word)

SeaMonkey is just the Mozilla Application Suite with a different name because Mozilla stopped developing it.

i found the mozilla suite to be fairly lacking in performance and features (and the world war II era theming hardly made it worht using). i think opera is better, if you want a mail and browser tandem. firefox just has so many options that it has made an impatient person, like me, use it instead of the faster opera.

I tend to stick with FF b/c it's OSS. That aside, i know Opera can be skinned... and that's fine. But the default layout is the ugliest browser i've ever seen and it turns me off completely. The feel of opera throws me a bit too.
