pitched up sound EMU 0404 ubuntu 9.10

Hello everyone.

New to forum and new to Ubuntu. Thrilled with it, but I have some problems with my sound card. the only reason why i can't completely get rid of windows.

So I have infamous EMU 0404. I've managed to make it work! :) Yes after 4 and half hours, but it works. Although it is recognized as Audigy2 it plays sound, but pitched up sound. Everything I play, music or movies is sped up. It's a fun at first, but very annoying later. :(


any thoughts?

found solution! :) a good night sleep at first, and then start alsamixer, and change sampling rate from 48000 to 44100. it is obvious, but when you're stuck for 4 and a half hours at one problem, you don't see the obvious. :)
