I using a Acer Aspire 3000 laptop, I am running Windows XP and Ubuntu 9.10, a coupe of week ago when I booted into Ubuntu 9.10 it would boot up to the Logo and then the screen goes black, and I shut it off and the second our third time it will boot up to log in screen and then on up to the windows. then the last few days a error message started popping up in the last lower right corner that says
"the configuration defaults for GNOME power manager have not been installed correct" how can I correct this problem?
