View Full Version : [ubuntu] Audacious broken since update to 2.2

Hey guys,

since I updated Audacious to 2.2, I can no longer show the playlist, player, or any graphical interface. When I open it, it runs perfectly, but I cannot bring up any of its GUI.

I have the Status Icon enabled, and it sits in the tray, but clicking on it doesn't do anything. I went through all options without success, deleted the custom skins and it didn't help either.

Any ideas? How can I remove it COMPLETELY from my system and re-install it? Whenever I re-install it, all my settings etc. from the previous installation are still intact, so it never gets removed completely. That could mean that whatever part of it is broken doesn't get removed either :-(

Thanks!

The audacious config files are located in ~/.config/audacious , so, just rename that to something else and see if audacious works properly after you start it and it recreates it's settings folder.
