Firestarter Sees connections i dont have?

Im using the beginner pocket guide at the top of this thread and iv run into a bit of a problem with firstarter. I only have 1 ethernet connection but at the part where it asks me to please select your internet connected device from the drop-down list of available devices it has 2 Ethernet devices detected one called Ethernet device (eth0) the other Ethernet device (eth2) how do i know which one to choose? Thanks.

Hi,
Right click on your NetworkManager Applet, in the notification area of your systray. Then click on Connection Information. It should tell you what the default connection is. I only have one ethernet port on this pc, so I hope this helps.

I just run ifconfig, and which ever interface has the IP address, thats the one I use.
