Well,

I've looked around the forum and can't seem to find a solution to my problem.

I've been trying to fix my Display resolution. My monitor is 1920x1080. I have a GeForce 250 GTS. I've installed the Nvidia restricted drive from the Restricted Drivers section. I've tried using the Nvidia X Server settings and setting my monitor to 1920x1080, but it doesn't seem to work.

The problem is that the screen fits perfectly fine, but then I move my cursor to the right and my screen shifts, as if my resolution is higher than my monitor can support.

Is there a way to resolve this issue?

I've tried using the Display settings but it says I can only use the Nvidia x server.
