hello,
i seem to have a odd problem
first off all nothing is gone its just out of range kinda thingy
i got ubuntu 9.10 installed on a hp mini and if i install my wireless netwerkdriver i got wireless internet bhut my screen gets all f*ck*d *p however when i uninstall the driver its solved again
naw the thing that happens is the resolution that changes
when de driver is not installed the screen is at 1200x600@60 working like it should.
when the driver is installed however it moves to the resolution of 1368x768 (16:9)@59hz and i can reduce it to 640x480@60 bhut that stil doesent solves my problem cause my screen do's resize's in pixels bhut not in size, dont know how to explain it so gone go whit exampel of a piece of paper , u take a piece of paper and u draw a picture that is to big so u just draw on over the edges to the rigt and at the bottom
in this case the piece of paper is my monitor and the extra picture made is outside the edge's of the monitor (the top left corner is correct however, its only to the right and the bottom that it's passed beyond the borders of the monitor)
any idea how to solve this?
(when i install the netwerkdriver the resolution stays regular size untill i reboot and when i uninstall it and than reboot it turns back to the correct resolution)
the driver is Broadcom STA wireless driver
