choppy sound in World of Warcraft

Is there a solution to fix the choppy sound in WoW? Thus far i have only found guides to change the wtf file which did not work for me. Any suggestions would be of great help. Thanx

Either uninstall/disable pulseaudio or install Wine with PulseAudio support (http://dalenscomputerblog.blogspot.com/2009/11/how-to-install-winepulse-for-ubuntu.html)
